VWO Integration

Visual Website Optimizer (VWO) allows you to create and A/B test different versions of your website to see which variation performs best. CallRail’s integration with VWO shows which variation is bringing more calls and text messages to your business so you can determine which variation converts best.

Getting Started

CallRail's integration with VWO requires keyword-level tracking with dynamic number insertion installed on your website.

Integrating with VWO

CallRail’s integration with VWO is company-dependent in your account. Follow the instructions below for each company you’d like to integrate with VWO.

  1. Choose the company you’d like to integrate with VWO.



  2. Click Settings at the top of the page.

  3. Select the Integrations tab, then click All Integrations.

  4. Click Activate on the VWO integration option.



  5. Enter the email address you use to log into your VWO account, as well as your VWO account ID. Here’s where you can find your VWO account ID.



  6. Click Request API Access. This allows us to email VWO on your behalf to request that your VWO account is setup to receive CallRail data.



  7. Once VWO has granted access to your account, select Authorize to activate your integration.



Viewing Call and Text Message Data in VWO

Once your VWO integration is active, incoming calls and text messages to your keyword tracking pools will start to report in VWO. Use this set of instructions to find your conversions in VWO.

  1. Once you're logged into VWO, select a Test where you'd like to view your call and text message data.

  2. Select Detailed Report at the top of the page

  3. Select your Text Message and Call goals from the right side of the screen to populate the graph.

Disabling VWO Integration

Disabling a company's integration with VWO will prevent your call data from appearing in Lead Center and your VWO account. We'll keep your VWO credentials saved in case you'd like to re-activate your integration in the future.

  1. Choose the company whose integration you'd like to disable.



  2. Click Settings at the top of the page.

  3. Select the Integrations tab, then click All Integrations.

  4. Click Configure on the VWO integration option.



  5. Select Disable Integration on the right side of the page.



  6. Click Disable to turn off your VWO integration.
