Get a full breakdown of the targeted keywords that are used most in calls to your business. Use this custom report to see which keywords are leading to the most qualified leads.

Getting Started

Keyword Spotting must be activated in your account before you can access the Keywords Spotted custom report.

Keyword Spotting only understands standard English words that can be found in a dictionary. For example, a proper noun like "CallRail" or your business's name may not be recognized by the system.

Keywords Spotted Custom Report Overview

Use these instructions to access your Keywords Spotted custom report for a specific company.

  1. Choose the company whose Keywords Spotted custom report you'd like to view.

  2. Select Reports from the top of the page.

  3. Click on Create Report from the Custom list of reports in the left menu.

  4. Find the Keywords Spotted option and click Create Report.

  5. Name your report by clicking the Pencil icon at the top of the page or select Rename Report within the Report Options drop-down. You can update the name of your report at any time.

  6. View and interact with your Keywords Spotted custom report. Use the filter bar to choose what you'd like to view. Select Any SpeakerAgent, or Customer to adjust your graph and focus on only a certain kind of speaker. Hover over the bar graphs to see a breakdown of the column item you have selected.

  7. The columns below the chart illustrate how many calls featured each keyword and how many of those calls were marked as qualified calls and first-time callers during the date range selected at the top of the page. Click on the numbers in each of the columns to be taken to a separate call log of just the calls that featured that specific keyword. Click the Edit Columns button to adjust which columns you see within the table.

  8. Click the Save button at the top of the page if you'd like to save this report for later.

Export and Print Report

You can export your report to an Excel file. 

  1. Select Export at the top of the table.

  2. Choose Excel to download an Excel file of your report. If you choose to export to Excel, your report will include a cover sheet that details the filters you used to create your report.

  3. Choose PDF Instructions if you want details about how to save your report as a PDF file. You can also view this help article for more details.

  4. Click Print to print your report with the current filters and grouping applied.

Duplicating a Custom Report

If you'd like to duplicate a custom report you've created, you can do so at any time.

  1. Select Reports at the top of the page.

  2. Find and click on the report you'd like to duplicate.

  3. Click Duplicate Report within the Report Options drop-down.

  4. Confirm that you'd like to duplicate this report by clicking Duplicate.

Deleting a Custom Report

If you'd like to delete a custom report you've created, you can remove it from your list at any time.

  1. Select Reports at the top of the page.

  2. Find and click on the report you'd like to delete.

  3. Click Delete Report within the Report Options drop-down.

  4. Confirm that you'd like to delete this report by clicking Delete.
