You can create a custom report and select the template call log. Then set the time for the last 30 days. Once you hover over the time period, a "+" will appear. Clicking this will allow you to add an additional time period to compare it to. In this example below, I selected last period, so the graph shows calls from the last 30 days compared to the 30 days before that. At this time, only 2 time periods can be selected to compare.
Another way to do this would be to filter the call log to calls from the last 3 months, and then select to show the data by months.
