Self reported attribution
The Self reported attribution alpha feature surfaces how customers hear about your business. You can use these insights to quantify your marketing spend more accurately and truly understand where your leads are coming from.
We analyze the call to determine if the customer mentioned how they heard about your business. We’ll then select the best option from a list of predetermined attribution options:
- Return Customer
- Print Ad
- Direct Mail
- Broadcast Ad
- Billboard / Signage
- Social Media
- Online Directory
- Other Online Ad
- Influencer
- Personal Referral
- Business Referral
- Online Search
- Other
If the customer didn’t say how they found your business, you’ll see no attribution found. Unlike our other CallRail Labs Alphas, you can find this Alpha on the Activity page, under the Calls header.
For best results we have prefiltered this report to first time callers and calls over 90 seconds.
If you've tested this feature in your account, let us know what you think in the comments.
