User Roles & Permissions

If you’re struggling to access, manage, or edit your CallRail account, you may want to revisit your user role and see if it supports your needs. 

Where can I find what user role I have? 

In CallRail, click the Account icon in the top left to open the My Account panel, then select Users.

What options are there for user roles? 

There are generally four options for CallRail users. Listed from the most access to the least:

  • Admin
  • Manager
  • Reporting
  • Agent (when using Lead Center)

Who can change user roles?

Only admins can change non-admin user roles, so know who your admins are when requesting additional access.

How often should my team review our user list?

It is best practice to review user permissions whenever you add or remove users or edit user access. This is a great opportunity to review your user list, understand who your account owner is, and make sure it's up to date so all active team members get the most out of CallRail.
