- Select Create Number from your account's home page.
- Choose whether you want the number to be used on your website or a different marketing source.
- Choose the call tracking phone number you'd like to purchase.
- Enter the destination number to which calls should be routed. This number can be changed at any time. You can customize call recording options and create a pre-call message.
- Activate your number.
If, for any reason, you deactivate a tracking number, it can be reactivated from your company's Numbers tab.

Call flows help you create paths callers can take using your tracking numbers. You can send callers to voicemail inboxes, develop schedules based on your business hours, and create menus to route calls based on departments.
- Click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you’d like to create a call flow.
- Click Workflow at the top of the page.
- You can select one of the template options to create a new call flow, or edit an existing one.
Call flows can be edited by selecting its pencil icon from the Workflow menu.

If you forget your CallRail password, it can be reset at the login screen. After five failed login attempts, your account will be locked for one hour. For more information on passwords, please view this article.
You can make several changes to your account as the owner or administrator.

If you own a phone number, you can port it into CallRail to be used as a tracking number.
- Create a port request in your company's Settings page.
- Use the CSV template to upload the phone number information, as well as your most recent phone invoice and letter of authorization.
- Once submitted, ports typically take 4 to 6 weeks to process. You can follow along in-app in your company's Porting in page.
