Format of customer name

We have Zapier integrations set up with CallRail; Since CallRail doesn't have a first and last name field, we have been formatting the customer name, splitting it into first and last name, using a space as the separator.  However, we have received leads with their names separated by a comma (first,last name). Therefore, the integration cannot identify or create a lead in Salesforce because the Last name field comes empty.  Is there a way to standardize the Customer name format?
