Google Ads Keyword Match Type Attribution

Showing which keyword triggered a call is great info, although it would be really nice to see, if applicable, which keyword match type triggered that call as well. For example, if we see that most calls are being triggered by "phrase match" type keywords as opposed to broad match types, it would bring a lot more clarity to keyword optimizations in Google Ads. We can see some decent data pertaining to this in Google Ads itself, but there's no way to relating it to call attribution. It would be killer to see this info within CallRail!

    Hey Marco! Thank you for your question.

    CallRail does have the ability to tell you the keyword match type as long as you have matchtype={matchtype} in your tracking template. We collect that information from the landing page URL via the matchtype ValueTrack param. We go into more detail on setting up tracking templates at this Help Center article here. Here is an example of how you will see this information in the caller's timeline once set up:
