universal spam prevention measures

We are doing a call tracking testing quarter and we have a lot of call tracking numbers. You have this so called universal spam prevention measures that mark a phone call as spam if it reach a limit of calling a number for a certain minutes.
Consider this product feature suggestion if you can add or make an exception to a certain phone numbers being scanned by universal spam prevention measures.

  • Hello Nikki. You are correct that our spam prevention measures will begin to challenge or block a number if it dials in too many times in a 3-minute period. In most cases, this sort of frequent calling is done by an autodialer and is generally unwanted traffic. I see the reason for your use case here though and it is an excellent feature request. At this time, we do not have the option to whitelist a calling number but your request for developing this feature has been submitted. Thank you for your feedback and for participating in the CallRail Support Community.

  • One thing I would like to see is if we block a number it also blocks that number from texting us.

  • Hello Bruce. Yes, blocking a number from calling you will also block that number from being able to send you text messages. Those work together so if you block one, you block the other as well.
