Expanded internal user type administrative controls & more granular user types
Ideally, Admin-level user accounts would have full control of both upgrading and downgrading user permission sets / user types. Currently, users can only be upgraded to a higher-permissioned user type. A downgrade of user type requires a user account deletion and reprovision - not a great experience for the admin or the affected user.
Alongside allowances for upgrading and downgrading user types, additional user types would be helpful to better divide roles and enable specific actions without granting unnecessary permissions.
For example, a user type that had full access to integrations and technical account settings but did not have user account editing / creation, number editing permissions, or account-level settings access to functions like billing would be helpful for IT users. A user type with full forms access for Marketing users but no account-level or user-level settings would allow us to fully enable our Marketing teams without granting unneeded permissions. A higher level of granularity and control in the user type experience would allow for greater security controls and would make audits of in-platform actions easier IT / Security teams.
