On October 7, 2025, CallRail announced the sunset of Lead Center. Beginning January 27, 2026, Lead Center will be phased out and no longer available in your CallRail account. This process will also occur with the Lead Center mobile app.

CallRail’s partnership with RingCentral
One option for Lead Center users is CallRail’s integration with RingCentral. CallRail and RingCentral have partnered to provide the best phone system and lead intelligence solution available. If you are a heavy user of Lead Center’s softphone capabilities, including call queues, transferring, and active routing, we can migrate your Lead Center setup to a RingCentral plan that includes all these features. This is the best option for users looking to most closely replicate the same functionality that they have with Lead Center. Your CallRail plan, data, and tracking numbers will still exist: the only difference is that the phone calls will be handled in RingCentral.
This partnership is a combination of migrating your Lead Center information to RingCentral and using CallRail’s existing RingCentral integration. Our migration specialists will work alongside you and RingCentral’s Professional Services team to set up your account exactly how you want it, free of charge. We are also able to offer special discounted pricing for migrating customers who are new to RingCentral.

CallRail’s Messaging and Outbound Dialers
Lead Center accounts will now see an additional tab on the left-side navigation menu for Messaging. This is CallRail’s native messaging application, and can be used to send and receive text messages from your leads. Combined with our existing outbound dialer in the CallRail mobile app, and the callback feature on the call log , you can communicate just as easily with potential customers.. This is a great solution for those who do not need a dedicated softphone (virtual phone) like Lead Center or RingCentral. The dialers work by routing calls from your non-CallRail/Lead Center cell or business phone through CallRail, so you can place outbound calls from your Call Tracking numbers.
We have also added major updates to Messaging, including:
- Messaging flows: An intuitive builder helps you create message flows that respond automatically to leads within the parameters you specify. This feature is key in quickly responding to Google Local Service Ads and driving conversions in Google Analytics.
- Smart follow-up (for Convert Assist users): Leverage the power of Convert Assist’s smart follow-up feature to guide your text responses, improving response time.
- Bulk Message Beta: In late September, we launched our Beta version of Bulk Message. This feature, which was heavily requested, will allow you to send the same text to multiple customers simultaneously.
- Text forwarding: Have incoming SMS messages sent to a number of your choice, with the ability to reply from your own number.
Messaging is included in your Call Tracking plan, starting with 25 messages. Outside of the included 25, each additional outbound message will cost only three cents. There is no per-agent cost associated with this.

Switching to the new CallRail mobile app
Once Lead Center is formally sunset, the Lead Center mobile app will no longer be usable. If you are a mobile user, we recommend downloading the new CallRail mobile app! Available on IOS and Android systems, the CallRail app gives you full access to messaging and outbound dialing, in addition to CallRail analytics and call logs. If you are migrating to RingCentral (see below), the CallRail app still provides on-the-go access to your account.

Do I have to switch to RingCentral?
You do not have to switch to RingCentral, and you won’t be automatically migrated. However, LC functionality will cease on 1/27. You are free to go to another VoIP provider, but RingCentral is the only VoIP that we’ve built an integration with. We highly recommend Ring, especially if you are primarily using Lead Center for calling and want to maintain similar functionality. The integration offers a robust and reliable phone network and bi-directional attribution to RingCentral to provide you with similar features to Lead Center. I also wanted to mention that we now include our new messaging product in our Call Tracking plans, and you might be interested if you are primarily using Lead Center for texting. We have heard positive things from customers with lesser virtual phone needs, pair that with our outbound dialer in the mobile app and callback feature in the web app.
What if I don’t want to go to RingCentral?
If you are primarily using LeadCenter for its virtual phone, it is our strong recommendation to go to RingCentral over other VoIP providers, as it is the only VoIP that we have built an integration with. Therefore, you can keep tracking calls just as you have been with CallRail. We have also partnered with them to give Lead Center customers special pricing and free white glove migration support. We now include our new messaging product in our Call Tracking plans, and an outbound dialer in the mobile app. If you are hesitant to switch to RingCentral, that might be of interest to you.
Why did you let me sign up for Lead Center when you knew it was going away soon?
As our leadership was evaluating the future of Lead Center, we worked to be transparent and even stopped selling new instances of Lead Center months ago. However, the final decision was not made until recently, when we had enough data and feedback from users using the RingCentral integration. Now that the final decision has been made, we want to ensure that you get the support that you need to make your next step as seamless as possible.
I want to export all of my data before Lead Center goes away.
You are able to export a month’s worth of data at a time by following the steps below:
- Select the Account icon in the top left, then select Account Settings.
- Choose Details from the Account header on the left.
- In the Export Data section, choose the month and year for which you'd like your data.
- Select the checkbox next to Calls, Forms, SMS, Leads, and/or Call Recordings, then click Start Export.
Once the export is complete, select the Download icon for the exported month.

I thought Lead Center WAS CallRail.
CallRail is a robust intelligence platform that uses call tracking, among other tools, to ensure you never miss a lead. The data you receive from phone calls is stored in CallRail.
Lead Center was a softphone platform that allowed companies to make outbound calls, route to specific users, and use other voice-over-internet protocol (VOIP) features. Its softphone functionality will sunset on 1/27/26. CallRail’s other tools and functionalities will remain.
