Multi-language transcriptions

Transcript intelligence allows you to read entire conversations between your team and customers by transcribing your calls.

We can now transcribe your call in multiple languages! Using multi-language transcriptions can help you increase your business's reach, foster stronger relationships with your customers, and optimize your operations for cost efficiency and growth.

Getting started

Multi-language transcription is automatically turned on for any account that has enabled Transcript intelligence. The accuracy of your transcription is dependent upon call quality. Once 50 seconds of a non-English language is detected, The transcript will change to that language.

If the call starts in English, but the majority of the call is in another language, for example, Spanish, we will transcribe that call in Spanish.

Multi-language transcription currently isn’t compatible with call summaries or call sentiments.
If the transcript is in any language other than English, we will not show a summary or sentiment for that call.

Supported languages

We can transcribe calls for the following languages:

  • English.
  • Spanish.
  • French.
  • German.
  • Italian.
  • Portuguese.
  • Dutch.

Please note: Multi-language transcription isn’t compatible with Keyword Spotting, Call Highlights, Automation Rules, Call sentiments, Call summaries, or any of our CallRail Labs Alphas.

FAQs

Is Multi-language transcription compatible with HIPAA accounts?
No, Multi-language transcription is not available for accounts on HIPAA plans or accounts using PII redaction.
