VWO allows you to create and A/B test different versions of your website to see which variation performs best. CallRail’s integration with VWO shows which variation is bringing more calls and text messages to your business so you can determine which variation converts best.
Getting started
CallRail's integration with VWO requires visitor tracking with your company's JavaScript snippet installed on your website. You'll also need VWO's enterprise plan in order to use CallRail's integration for your VWO account. You will need to have Admin-level permissions in order to authorize this integration.
Please note: if you'd like to use VWO's Data360 product with CallRail, make sure Data360 is active in your VWO account before proceeding with the integration process.
Integrating with VWO
CallRail’s integration with VWO is company-dependent in your account. Follow the instructions below for each company you’d like to integrate with VWO.
- Click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company you’d like to integrate with VWO.
- Click Integrations at the top of the page.
- Choose VWO from the list of integrations.
- Enter the email address you use to log into your VWO account, as well as your VWO account ID. Here’s where you can find your VWO account ID.

Optional: if you use Data360 with your VWO account, you can connect it to the integration. Checking this box will send allow CallRail to send your call and text data directly to Data360.
- Click Activate. This allows us to email VWO on your behalf to request that your VWO account is set up to receive CallRail data.
- Once VWO has granted access to your account, select Authorize to activate your integration.
Viewing call and text data in Data360
If you are using Data360, calls and texts will be sent as events. Use this set of instructions to find your events in Data360.
- Once you're logged into VWO, click Data 360 on the left navigation bar.
- Select Events from the dropdown menu.
- In the list, CallRail events will appear as Unregistered Events.
- To register an event, click on the Register Event button at the top right.

Viewing call and text message data in VWO Testing
Once your VWO integration is active, incoming calls and text messages to your website pools will start to report in VWO. Use this set of instructions to find your conversions in VWO.
- Once you're logged into VWO, select a Test where you'd like to view your call and text message data.
- Select Detailed Report at the top of the page
- Select your Text Message and Call goals from the right side of the screen to populate the graph.
Deactivating the VWO integration
Deactivating a company's integration with VWO prevents your VWO data from appearing in CallRail. We'll keep your VWO credentials saved in case you'd like to reactivate your integration in the future.
- Click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you'd like to deactivate the integration.
- Click Integrations at the top of the page.
- Choose VWO from the list of integrations.
- Select Deactivate Integration on the right side of the page.
