  • Hello John!

If you would like to keep the number static on your website, you can utilize a single source tracking number with the source simply set to "No dynamic number swapping", which will allow you to track calls and ensure the number remains static. However, you will not receive all the detailed information that is provided via visitor tracking(website pools)

Below are additional options that will help to prevent swapping if needed

    •  Change the swap target.
    •  Remove the CallRail JS from their site.
    •  Change the source of the number(s) to offline.
      • Click the Settings on the left navigation bar.
      • Choose the company whose number you'd like to update.
      • Click the Pencil icon at the right end of the number’s row to access its configuration.
      • On the configuration page, click the Pencil icon in the upper right of the Number Insertion Options menu.
      • Under Tracking Sources, select Offline.

If you are referring to leaving your business number static on your website, and this number is outside of CallRail, please know that we are unable to track calls to numbers that are not listed as tracking numbers within your CallRail account. If you would like to use a number outside of CallRail as a tracking number, you can Port In the number.
