As of December 14, 2022, CallRail no longer offers our First Party Mode in the CallRail plugin settings. The JavaScript snippet is now served from CallRail.com rather than your personal domain.
What does this mean?
This change impacts users who have our Javascript snippet installed and have enabled First Party Mode. Once First Party Mode is deactivated, the snippet will be served from callrail.com. Certain ad blockers used by visitors may block our script from running.
What do I need to do?
No action is needed. Once you update to the latest WordPress version, the First-Party Mode setting will be removed.
If you want to test the change in advance or check to see if you were using First Party Mode, follow the steps below.
- From your Wordpress admin site, select Settings in the left menu.
- Then select CallRail.
- Confirm Enable As First Party Script is unchecked.
