Getting started
You'll have two different ways to display your data when creating a CPL custom report:
- Creating a report that shows data related to your cost per raw lead for a particular source.
- Creating a report that shows data related to your cost per qualified lead for a particular source.

Create a report by cost per raw lead
Use these instructions to create a custom report that displays information related to your cost per raw lead for a particular source.
For example, you can use this setup to create a report that shows which sources drive the most cost-effective leads to your business, broken down by cost per raw lead. The table that's created for this kind of report includes which source your ad is associated with, the number of raw leads for the source, the cost of the source, and the calculation of your cost per raw lead based on the cost of that source.
- Click Analytics on the left navigation bar.
- Select Reports at the top of the page.
- Click on Create Report from the Custom header on the left.
- Find the Cost Per Lead by Source option and click Create Report.
- Name your report by clicking the pencil icon at the top of the page or select Rename Report within the Report Options drop-down menu on the upper-right of the page. You can update the name of your report at any time.
- Ensure Cost per Raw Lead is selected in the drop-down menu within the filter panel at the top of the report.
- The report initially loads with a list of sources organized by cost per raw lead, with total amounts for raw leads, cost, and cost per raw lead for all selected sources bolded at the top. Each column displays an aggregated total of the different types of sources (organized by color), raw leads, cost per source, and cost per raw lead.
- Use the filter panel at the top of the report to determine which companies and types of attribution you'd like to see.
- Use the company drop-down to choose which companies should be on this report. You can select as many or as few as you'd like.
- Use the date range drop-down to select the timeframe for the cost per raw lead you'd like to see on this report.
- Use the attribution drop-down to select the attribution model you'd like to see on this report. Your report initially loads with the 50/50 Model selected, but you can change models anytime.
- Use the keyword/ad ID drop-down to select whether you'd like to see the keyword or ad ID associated with a particular source.
-Use the graph drop-down to select a time interval for your report. You can view by hours, days, weeks, months, or years.
- If you choose to drill-down further, select Add Filter and pick additional filters you'd like for your report. This drop-down only shows if you're adding filters.
- To see your CPL settings, click on the Manage Spend button located above the list of sources.

Optional: You can see a separate table featuring details about a particular source by selecting the desired source within the report.
- Click the Save button at the top of the page if you'd like to save this report for later.
