Creating a new Lead Center Agent

On October 7, 2025, CallRail announced the sunset of Lead Center. Beginning January 27, 2026, Lead Center will be phased out and no longer available in your CallRail account. This process will also occur with the Lead Center mobile app. Users who wish to make outbound communication with customers can either:

  1.   Use CallRail's outbound dialer and Messaging feature for communicating with customers
  2. Work with our team to migrate your outbound communication to RingCentral.

This article contains information to guide you towards the best decision for your business needs:

Lead Center sunset: What you need to know

Getting started

To allow someone to only use Lead Center or CallRail messaging, you'll need to create them as an Agent. Once they've been created as an Agent in your account, you can update their settings and give them access to specific information and tools in Lead Center to help manage their leads and communications.

If you have an existing user in your account whose permissions need to change to become an Agent, use this help article instead.

Example email

Here's an example of the email we send to your agent which asks them to create their password:

Creating a new Agent

Use these instructions to create a new Agent.

  1. Select the Account icon in the top left to open the My Account panel, then select Users.
  2. Select the Create User button.
  3. Choose the type of access this agent should have. Once you've made your selection, select User Info to move to the next step. If this person should only have access to Lead Center or CallRail messaging (and not the rest of your CallRail account), choose Agent.
  4. Enter your agent's information, then select Select a company to move to the next step.
  5. Choose the companies that this Agent should have access to (if you have multiple companies in your account using Lead Center or messaging).
  6. Review your agent's information and add a personal note to their email invite if you'd like. When finished, select Send to email your agent an invite to join your account.
