In this article, you'll learn how to manage any recording you have uploaded to CallRail.
You can manage audio files that have already been uploaded directly from the call flow builder and upload new audio files that you can use later when creating or updating a Greeting, Menu, or Voicemail step.
Downloading a recording
Follow the steps below if you need to download a recording you own.
- Select the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you’d like to download a recording.
- Select Workflow at the top of the page.
- Choose Uploaded Recordings from the Manage header.
- Find the recording you'd like to download and select play.
- The file will open in a separate window.
- Select on the three-dot menu.
- Select download.
Editing a recording
Follow the steps below you need to edit a recording you own.
- Select the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you’d like to edit a recording.
- Select Workflow at the top of the page.
- Choose Uploaded Recordings from the Manage header.
- Find the recording you'd like to edit and select the pencil icon.
- Make the required changes and select save.
Deleting a recording
You can remove any recording you've uploaded as long as the file is not actively used in a call flow.
- Select the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you’d like to delete a recording.
- Select Workflow at the top of the page.
- Choose Uploaded Recordings from the Manage header.
- Find the recording you'd like to delete and select the trash can icon to the right of the file.
