Types of call tracking

CallRail offers two types of call tracking:

Visitor-level call tracking

With a CallRail website pool, you can use a group of numbers that swap for each new visitor to your website. This is done by using CallRail's JavaScript snippet. If you are using Google Ads or other search engine pay-per-click ads, you will need a website pool to report call conversions on your keywords.

Source-level call tracking

Source-level tracking uses one phone number per marketing campaign. This number can be used on offline marketing( such as billboards) or swapped with a CallRail tracking number.
