Getting started

You can use reports to analyze call data by source, keyword, day, and more. You can also export and share your reports. Below is a list of all reports CallRail has to offer and the definitions for each.

Reports for phone calls

Built-in reports and custom reports that you can build to demonstrate how customers convert after calling your tracking numbers.

  • Call Log  
    This report will identify the types of calls made and received by your tracking numbers within your Call Log. 
  • Calls by Tag report
    This report will identify the total number of calls involving enabled tags in your account, with a breakdown of the types of calls for each tag you select. 
  • Rejected calls report
    You can use this report to track the activity of the spam, challenged, and rejected calls received by your tracking numbers. 
  • Calls by Account report
    Use this report to track the call volume for any or all of your accounts.
  • Call Attribution report
    You can use this report to gain insight into the sources and interactions that are driving traffic and generating calls.
  • Calls by Day & Time report
    This report provides details on the number of calls received on each day of the week, as well as within each hour in a day. 
  • Calls by Agent report
    This report provides a breakdown of the agents taking calls to your tracking numbers. 
  • Calls by Company report
    Use this report to track call volume for any company in your CallRail account. 
  • Calls by Number report
    Use this report to track call volume for any tracking number in your account. 
  • Unanswered calls report
    This report identifies the number of missed calls on each day of the week, as well as within each hour in a day. 
  • Unique Callers report
    You can use this report to see an overview of the calls received from a specific telephone number. 
  • Voicemail report
    Use this report to track your follow your voicemail activity. All transcribed voicemails for tracking numbers that a call flow containing a Voicemail step is attached to will appear here. 

Reports for form submissions

Built-in reports and custom reports that you can build to demonstrate how customers convert using your online forms.

  • Forms by Tag report
    This report shows the total number of form submissions involving enabled tags in your account, with a breakdown of the types of form submissions for each tag you select. 
  • Form Submissions custom report
    You can use this report to follow your form activity, allowing you to pinpoint key form information using customizable insights. Filter, find, and export submissions that are most meaningful to your business, or generate a list of submissions for a specific date range. 
  • Form submissions by form custom report
    This report provides a high-level view of how your forms are being submitted. you can also use metrics to see the form submission volume.
  • Form Attribution report
    You can use this report to gain insight into the sources and interactions that are driving traffic and generating form submissions on your website. 

Reports for text messages

Built-in reports and custom reports that you can build to demonstrate how customers convert after texting your tracking numbers.

  • Text Message Attribution report
    You can use this report to gain insight into the sources and interactions that are generating text messages. 
  • Text conversations report
    You can use this report to see how text conversations impact your business. Study activity, plus filter texts over a chosen timeframe to showcase details about text conversations. 
  • Text Messages by Tag custom report
    You can use this report to see the total number of texts involving enabled tags in your account, with a breakdown by type for each tag you select.

Built-in reports for leads

CallRail's reports give you insight into the sources and interactions that are driving calls to your business. Analyze calls by source, page, time, and more.

  • Leads report
    You can use this report to gain insight into each customer's journey to becoming a lead. Follow when and how prospects moved through different stages in the sales funnel. 
  • Lead Attribution report
    This report identifies which marketing sources are driving raw and qualified leads for your business at specific points in the sales funnel using our multi-touch attribution modeling. 
  • Lead Attribution by Campaign custom report
    This report gives you insight into which marketing campaigns are driving the most raw and qualified leads to your business at which stages in the sales funnel.
  • Lead Attribution by Source custom report 
    This report gives you a combined view of all sources and interaction types you're tracking in CallRail at each stage in the sales funnel using multi-touch attribution. 

Reports for Conversation Intelligence

CallRail's conversation intelligence suite uses Keyword Spotting and Transcription intelligence to take the guesswork out of qualifying leads.

  • Call summaries report
    This report provides a convenient way to view all your call summaries in a list view.
  • Key Terms Spotted report
    This report provides a full breakdown of the targeted key terms and phrases that are used most in your business calls. 
  •  Call Highlights report
    This report provides a full breakdown of the important key terms and phrases that are automatically spotted in calls to your business. 

Cost per lead reports

CallRail's Multi-Touch Cost per Lead reports calculate cost per lead based on five attribution models in the CallRail app: First-touch, Last-touch, 50/50, W-shaped, and Qualified.

  • Multi-touch cost per lead report
    This report provides a calculated cost per lead for each of your Google Ads, Facebook, and Microsoft Advertising campaigns based on the attribution model of your choice. 
  • ROI by Campaign Custom report
    Use this report to calculate your return on investment by campaign to see which marketing channels are the most cost-effective for your business using tracked deals in HubSpot.
  • ROI by source custom report
    Use this report to calculate your return on investment by source to see which marketing channels are the most cost-effective for your business using tracked deals in HubSpot.
  • Cost per lead by source custom report
    With this report, you can use your calculated cost per lead to see which marketing channels are the most cost-effective for your business.
  • Cost per lead by campaign custom report
    With this report, you can use your calculated cost per lead to see which Microsoft Advertising, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads campaigns drive the most cost-effective leads to your business.
