Is one of your tracking numbers receiving a lot of spam calls? You can replace a single number in a website pool or one of your source tracking numbers if you find that you're receiving a high number of wrong-number, robodialer, or spam calls. Each number you replace will be automatically replaced with the same type of tracking number within the same area code. There's no cost to replace a number in your account.

Replacing a website pool number
Once you confirm you'd like to replace a single number in your website pool, we'll release the number you're replacing. This action is immediate and cannot be undone, so be sure you're replacing the right number before confirming your choice. Use these instructions for each tracking number you'd like to replace in your website pool.
- Click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company whose website pool you'd like to update.
- Find your website pool in your list of active numbers, and click the link in the Tracking Number column. This will take you to your Number Assignment table.
- Find the tracking phone number you'd like to replace, and click the icon to Replace Number.
- On the pop-up, confirm you'd like to replace this number. Calls to the number you're replacing will no longer route once you confirm; however, your new number will be able to start taking calls immediately.
- Your new number will be generated at random and will appear in a success message at the top of the page, as well as in the Number Assignment table.
Replacing a source tracking number
Once you confirm you'd like to replace a source tracking number, we'll release the number you're replacing. This action is immediate and cannot be undone, so be sure you're replacing the right number before confirming your choice. Use these instructions for each tracking number you'd like to replace.
- Click the Settings icon on the left navigation bar.
- Choose the company where you'd like to replace the number.
- Find the tracking phone number you'd like to replace and click the pencil icon to Edit your number.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon once more for the first section, Number Options.
- Click the icon to Replace Number.
- On the pop-up, confirm you'd like to replace this number. Calls to the number you're replacing will no longer route once you confirm; however, your new number will be able to start taking calls immediately.
- Your new number will be generated at random and will appear in a success message at the top of the page and on your "Numbers" page.
FAQs
Can I pick the number that will be the replacement?
We generate your replacement number at random based on our inventory and the area code associated with your tracking number. For this reason, there's no way to pick, customize, or choose a specific number as the replacement number.
What if I need the replacement number to have a different area code?
Our replacement feature only replaces your current number with another number in the same area code. If you need a number in a different area code, you'll need to create a new tracking number with the area code that you'd prefer. You can use the instructions in any of the support articles in this section to create the desired type of number.
